Our Purpose & Mission
Every year, thousands of capable international students across South Asia, Africa, and developing countries miss out on university funding opportunities because eligibility requirements are scattered across hundreds of disparate government portals, embassy PDFs, and university departmental pages.
Many applicants seek guidance from predatory local education consultancies that charge steep agent fees or push students toward expensive private universities paying recruitment commissions.
DegreesGrant was built to establish complete transparency. We provide an independent, streamlined matching directory where prospective scholars can evaluate published GPA thresholds, study levels, and regional deadlines with zero agent bias.
Editorial Standards & Research Team
DegreesGrant is maintained by an independent editorial team dedicated to higher education transparency and scholarship access. Our researchers review official government scholarship announcements, university grant portals, and bilateral exchange agreements to ensure all published eligibility criteria and deadlines remain accurate and helpful.
How Our Matching Engine Works
- Standardized GPA Conversion: Different nations evaluate scholars differently (percentage systems in Pakistan, India, and Bangladesh; 5.0 scales; 4.0 scales). Our engine normalizes your score server-side to match global university thresholds.
- Verified Deadlines: We track real application deadlines and alert you when funding windows are nearing expiration.
- Direct Official Portals: We never act as an agent or intermediary. Every scholarship profile links directly to the official government or university application portal.
Important: GPA conversions shown by DegreesGrant are estimates used for search and matching purposes. Scholarship providers may use their own grading or equivalency methods. Always follow the official eligibility requirements provided by the scholarship organization.
