NYU Abu Dhabi Scholarship 2027 for Undergraduates (Need-Based Aid)
The NYU Abu Dhabi Scholarship 2027 is the need-based financial aid programme for undergraduate students at New York University Abu Dhabi, one of the most selective universities in the Middle East. NYU Abu Dhabi accepts financial aid applications from all students, regardless of citizenship, which makes it an important option for international and Pakistani high school graduates who want a Bachelor's degree at a global university. How the financial aid works All financial aid grants for non-Emirati students are based on demonstrated financial need. The Office of Financial Aid calculates your need from the information you send in the CSS Profile, an online application run by the College Board. Award amounts vary from student to student, so the aid is not a fixed amount and is not the same for everyone. If you demonstrate need and file on time, you are told your financial aid eligibility when you are admitted, in your offer letter on the NYU student portal. Accepting the admission offer also means accepting the aid offered. The aid is generally renewed at the same level each year if you meet the renewal requirements, and it is not re-evaluated every year. Who can apply - Students applying for first-year undergraduate admission to NYU Abu Dhabi, from any country - Students who can show financial need through the CSS Profile - Students with divorced, separated or unmarried parents must have both parents submit their own CSS Profile, or a noncustodial parent waiver request. If this is missed, you may become ineligible for institutional grants while at NYU Abu Dhabi. Application rounds and deadlines Applications are made through the Common Application and are processed through New York University's admissions office. The cut-off time is 11:59 pm Eastern Standard Time. - Early Decision I: apply by 1 November, financial aid (CSS Profile) by 10 November, decision on 15 December. Early Decision is binding. - Early Decision II: apply by 1 January, financial aid by 10 January, decision on 15 February. Also binding. - Regular Decision: apply by 5 January, financial aid by 1 February, decision on 1 April. The financial aid deadline falls before the admission notification date, so do not wait for your admission result before you file the CSS Profile. NYU has also extended its test-optional policy for the 2026-27 cycle. How to apply for financial aid 1. Choose your application round and note its CSS Profile deadline. 2. Create your CSS Profile on the College Board website. It opens on 1 October each year. 3. Send it to NYU using school code 2785. 4. Submit your Common Application to NYU Abu Dhabi. 5. If the College Board asks for documents through IDOC, upload them in English or with an English translation, with amounts in US dollars. Send extra documents only when NYU's financial aid office asks. The CSS Profile costs USD 25 for the first institution. If the fee would cause hardship, you can request a fee payment code from NYU after you have applied for admission and activated your NYU applicant portal. Codes are limited and given on a first-come, first-served basis. A tip for applicants Start the CSS Profile early. Parents' tax and income records can take weeks to collect and convert into US dollars, and aid applications that are incomplete at the deadline can lose consideration. Also remember that the admission process is highly selective and aid depends on both admission and demonstrated need. Please confirm all deadlines and requirements for the NYU Abu Dhabi Scholarship 2027 on the official NYU Abu Dhabi website before you apply.
