Anne van den Ban Fund Scholarship 2027-28 at Wageningen University

The Anne van den Ban Fund is a scholarship at Wageningen University in the Netherlands that allows talented students from developing countries to pursue an MSc programme. Pakistan is on the list of eligible countries for the 2027-28 academic year, so Pakistani nationals who start an eligible on-campus MSc programme in September 2027 can be considered. The scholarships are assigned to students in close cooperation with the university and are combined with the WU Fellowship Programme, which makes it a fully funded route to a Dutch master's degree. What the Scholarship Covers The award covers the 24-month period of the programme. It includes travel to and from the Netherlands, a living allowance for the duration of the programme, full tuition fee coverage, visa costs and health insurance costs. Because tuition, living costs, travel and insurance are all included, the Anne van den Ban Fund is listed here as fully funded. Eligibility and Requirements Applicants must hold the nationality of an eligible country, which includes Pakistan, and must start an MSc programme at Wageningen University in September 2027 with unconditional admission. A complete MSc application, including all supporting documents, must be submitted before 1 December 2026. Your official English language test results must be available before that date so they can be uploaded with the application. You must also have completed your Bachelor's degree before 1 December 2026 and uploaded your Bachelor's diploma as part of the application, which means students who have not yet graduated by then are not eligible in this round. Only complete applications are assessed by the selection committee. How the Selection Works This scholarship is based on invitation, and it is not possible to apply for it directly. Instead, you apply for your chosen MSc programme at Wageningen University through the regular application procedure, and complete applications submitted before the deadline are assessed by the Anne van den Ban Fund selection committee. Only selected candidates are informed of the outcome, and results are communicated during May 2027, with the exact notification date to be announced. Important Notes Wageningen University scholarship programmes are offered for the September start only and are meant for prospective students, not for those already enrolled at Wageningen. Applicants should choose an eligible on-campus MSc programme and check the admission requirements of their chosen programme carefully, because unconditional admission is a requirement for the scholarship. Since obtaining English language test results can take several weeks, plan your test well in advance. Wageningen University also publishes other scholarships, such as the Excellence Programme and the NL Scholarship, but these are open only to selected nationalities that do not include Pakistan. Deadlines The MSc application deadline for this scholarship is before 1 December 2026, and only complete applications submitted before this deadline are assessed. Do not leave your English test, Bachelor's diploma or supporting documents until the last week, since an incomplete application cannot be considered for the Anne van den Ban Fund. Visit the official Wageningen University website for the latest details and submit your complete MSc application well before 1 December 2026.
